Leave the port of Cesme, from here you’ll carry on to the world famous archaeological site of Ephesus for your walking tour. Ephesus is an exceptional testimony to the cultural traditions of the Hellenistic, Roman Imperial and early Christian periods. Ephesus is an important site for Christianity; being one of the seven Churches of Revelation. Apostle Paul probably spent two and half years in Ephesus during his third missionary journey.
In one hour, you will be exploring the city by walking on the marble streets. In our tour, we will be seeing The Odeon, The State Agora, the Prytaneion, the Memmius Monument, the Domatian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, the Hadrian temple and the latriens. We will carry on with our exploration with the Celsus library, The Marble Road, The Commercial Agora, The Great Theather and The Arcadiane (harbour road).
